Dawson was fantastic — friendly, helpful, and got us geared up with a rental pole, bait, and tackle for a great price. Thanks to their tips, we caught plenty of fish during our stay. We’ll absolutely be returning to Whitney’s. Such an awesome experience.
Great place to get live, shrimp, and fishing tackle. They have guides that will take you out fishing wherever you want. The guides know where the fish are and how to catch them. This is a very family friendly store. They also have fun gifts.And there's a lot more.
Worst bait shop I have ever been in. I went into the shop to get live shrimp on a Saturday morning around 7am and they were out. I was told they would be getting some in the afternoon sometime they weren't sure when but they were getting some. On Sunday morning the very next day right after opening I went back to get live shrimp and they were out of shrimp again. I have NEVER been in a bait shop that has no live shrimp on the weekend. How do you get shrimp on a Saturday afternoon sometime and run out before opening on Sunday? What did you order like 10 dozen? I'll never go here again.
Great experience renting some fishing poles for my little guys. My kids had a great visit at the store and even better time fishing. Thanks for making their vacation even better!
Told the young gentleman inside that I was looking to catch some sheepshead, he showed me what I needed immediately. Went out to the fishing dock and caught 4 nice sheepshead in about 20 minutes. 10/10 knowledge and service!
