After the hurricane, national was advertising insulation repair. National came out and gave an estimate and during conversation I made mention I was still looking for a soffit repair company. The employee advised they, national did soffit repair. I quickly made the appointment. We had 19 feet of soffit damage and were over charged at 30ft at approximately 50.00 a foot. It took them about 12 hours to put in just the soffit over two days and not the tracks/ channels ( they were fine). It wasn’t secured or nailed to the fascia but left to move about with the excuse of “Home Depot” doesn’t have any nails in stock. A single metal sheet screw was placed in the fascia with the remainder of the screws ( 20+)strewn through my pool deck and inside my pool. I contacted the company due to the poor craftsmanship and further review of the charges of $1600+ for 19ft soffit on November 18; ( my whole house, soffit, fascia and with gutters was 5k a year prior). I was charged for 30ft so a refund was requested and approved by them for $605.00 of the original $1600+ charge to my credit card. After 4 weeks, multiple calls with claims they were completing the refund, we were able to finally get a single refund for $605.00 on December 15. Then a CHARGE of $605.00 was made to our credit card on a December 16 for unknown reasons and not approved. Again almost 3 weeks without the refund for what should have never been this complicated. I can’t account for their actual normally advertised business but I can assure you they should probably stick to that and not offer services outside their abilities. I’ve given respective leeway due to the times/ circumstances. So I called again today for the 5+ time after calling on December 16 about the false charge and claims of a refund will be processed. AND again waiting for a refund. I have been cordial and patient and don’t write poor reviews but this isn't good business practice. Moral of the story: don’t have an exterminator do home repair. Call/ wait for an actual aluminum company to do the work.
Not a great experience for me. We had what we were told by Turner was likely an armadillo hole in our back yard. We paid $400 in order to trap for 5 days (M-F). After day 4 I caught up with the guy outside and he explained they don't put ANYTHING in the traps for armadillos, the thought being "they are so blind they will just walk in the trap". I found out that other services use mealworms, crickets, and rotten fruit because they attract insects which armadillos eat. -On Friday the traps just disappeared.. The following week I called the salesman who confirmed their "no bait" approach. Needless to say - they caught nothing.
BEWARE!!!!!! I just spent 5k replacing shrubs, trees and flowers because Turner wasn’t spraying or canceling all the time. They’d show up and say they couldnt spray for one reason or another and will return later that week. They would never show up! We’ve sent emails several phone calls for a manger to call and NOTHING!
They are wonderful! I use their quarterly service and if I have any issues, they are quick to respond and correct. Recently I was having issues with no-see-ums in my lanai in between my quarterly service. I called and the next day Bill sprayed my lanai, and the bugs are gone! No additional charge! I usually have Kat, which is nice to have a regular service tech. All the technicians I've ever had over the 9 years are very nice, personable and professional! I recommend them to all my neighbors!
5/13/25 Barbie is a personable and professional technician! I highly recommend their monthly service! I'm not always home when they come, but I was today and Barbie did a thorough job and explained what she was doing. Thank you Barbie! From 2 years ago: I was shocked to see carpenter ants pouring out of my garage door so I called National Exterminators. Lee was great to work with on the phone and scheduled a home treatment in less than a week! Bill, the technician, came out today and was personable and professional. He went above and beyond to make sure I got first rate service, and he explained everything he was doing. I definitely recommend this company for any pest protection. And it's safe for people and pets!
