Steve at Southern Power Electric got us back into our home after Ian and now in 2026 helped me through a permit left open by prior electrician so we could close on the sale of our home. Always polite and helpful and that is priceless after a catastrophic Hurricane. Thank you , Steve and Victoria in permitting.
I’m disappointed with the service I received. I chose this company based on their positive reviews and their affiliation with a BNI chapter, but my experience was far from satisfactory. They caused damage to my soffit and attempted to place the blame on the soffit installer. This could have been handled better.
Southern power electric gave me a great quote for my electric riser replacement, including materials. They handled the permit, coordinated the LCEC shutdown, and we're very professional and efficient. Highly recommend!
A contractor we were happy with referred us to Steve who scheduled Joe to come and wall mount three TVs with new outlets. Joe was meticulous and spent a long time making sure everything was right. He worked on Saturday and came back the next day to finish the job, picking up some parts he needed and only charging us at cost. He helped us out with a couple other small things and we were impressed with his positive attitude and effort -- he really seemed to enjoy his work. It was a flat rate job and we felt the price was fair given the amount of time he spent.
