Captain Kerrick made our Sand Dollar Shelling Tour one of the best parts of our Marco Island trip. From the moment we left the dock, he was knowledgeable, relaxed, professional, and genuinely fun to be around. The shelling was great, but the whole experience was much more than that. We saw dolphins, ospreys, beautiful scenery, and learned a lot about the area, wildlife, and waterways along the way. Captain Kerrick knows these waters inside and out, and his boating skills made the entire trip feel smooth, safe, and effortless. He has that rare balance of being down-to-earth and easygoing while still running a first-class tour. If you want a real Florida experience with incredible wildlife, great shelling, and a captain who truly cares about making the trip memorable, book with Captain Kerrick. Highly recommended.
We had an amazing tour with Captain Paul S. from Sand Dollar Shelling! He is incredibly knowledgeable about the local wildlife and the many different kinds of shells. We learned so much throughout the trip. One of the highlights was seeing so many dolphins. Captain Paul took his time to explain their behavior and made sure everyone had the chance to enjoy these beautiful animals. His passion and expertise really made the experience special. Thank you, Captain Paul S., for an unforgettable day. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area! Michelle, Erwin en Kynan Mars from Holland
Had the best time out with Captain Kerrick from Sand Dollar Shelling! Took us out last night on a tour at 10Thousand Islands and it did not disappoint! Had been wanting to go over there for a while now.. and everything from the ride out, dolphins following us, his help identifying shells and history lesson about the island that we never would have known about made it all worth the wait!! And of course all of the spectacular finds! Told him to just drop me here every morning and I’d be in my glory! 🥰🐚🌊 10Thousand times over I recommend going on their tours!!
We had an unforgettable 3-hour shelling tour with Captain Paul S! My mom and I had a fantastic experience from start to finish. On the way to Kice Island, we encountered lots of dolphins. Captain Paul slowed the boat so we could watch them play in our wake—it was magical! He shared fascinating insights about the dolphins, local wildlife, and coastal ecosystem, making the trip both fun and educational. At Kice Island, Captain Paul S led us to the best shelling spots thanks to his deep knowledge of the area and tides. We found beautiful shells we never would have discovered on our own. Captain Paul S is friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what he does. If you’re looking for an authentic shelling adventure with wildlife and learning opportunities, I highly recommend him. This was a highlight of our trip, and if we go back we’ll definitely book again!
This was a fun experience doing the shelling tour. We went to a remote island that can only be accessed by boat and found tons of unique shells. It was so quiet and undisturbed, I felt like I was Tom Hanks looking for Wilson! A great family outing and my daughter had a great time. Captain Joey was knowledgeable about the area and even found a pod of dolphins on the way back that just added to the experience.
