I had Quality Control come out yesterday to insulate my home and I’m really happy with the whole experience. Anthony and Danny handled the job, and they were both great. They showed up right on time, were very respectful, and got straight to work. Anthony especially stood out—he was very knowledgeable, took the time to explain everything clearly, and made sure everything was done right from start to finish. They insulated the whole house and everything came out clean and well done. You can tell they pay attention to detail and actually care about the quality of their work. Nothing felt rushed, and they made sure everything was taken care of before leaving. Overall, really great experience with Quality Control. The house already feels more comfortable, and I’d definitely recommend them.

A maintenance inspection found my AC was in pretty bad shape although it wasn’t old. I opted for a new unit on Friday and it was installed the following Monday. Final bill was as quoted , no hidden or additional fees or adjustments. The price was reasonable. 2 team members followed up with calls later that day to make sure everything was good. As noted in other reviews I agree this is a solidly honest AC business with friendly , attentive staff.

What really caught my attention was their ad – An Educated Consumer is Our Best Customer - “We encourage you to stay with the technician during the entire service!” I called Quality Control and spoke with Michael Panicaro, the Service Manager. Michael came out and went over the options for a new air conditioner. He was very helpful with his suggestions and I found him to be a no-nonsense and quite knowledgeable guy and answered my questions, no matter how small of insignificant they were. His men, Jesus and Jose who came out to do the install on the A/C did a great job and they as well answered and questions I put to them with ease. After the install was done, I had Jesus go up into the attic and check the duct work and the insulation. We had several discussions after reviewing the pictures he showed me I decided to have the Mastic Sealing of the duck work and sanitizing as well as adding the Pink Panther Blown in insulation done to our attic as well as we were very short on the insulation that we needed in our attic after I had talked with Michael once again. All in all, they did a wonderful job. There are 3 other neighbors on our street that are using Quality Control as well, so I thought I would give them a shot, and am so glad that I did. We have been using this AC company for the past 2–3 years for regular service in our home in Lehigh Acres, and up until our last 2 visits everything seemed to be going well. Unfortunately, the second to last time they came out, we needed to call them to come out because our AC was not cooling properly back in November 2025, and it ended up starting a snowball effect of bad news. After they worked on the system, they were claiming our pressures were way high, and they filled the system with Freon, about an hour later, I went outside and heard a loud pop on the outside unit- it appears they overcharged it, and it blew the cap off the service valve on the outside unit, I had them come back and replace it, which they did. This tech told us that our HXV valve would most likely have to be replaced soon which is understandable, the unit is 9 years old and parts failing is obviously what happens from age and Florida heat. Everything seemed fine. This past regular semi annual maintenance on 3/8/25 is where the true let down started. The tech came out, said our pressures are insanely high, our amps are out of wack, and everything is about to fail (coil, compressor, fan motor, etc). He stated that after these repair costs, it would be ideal for us to buy an entirely new system at a cost of about $9,000–$12,000. Again, completely understandable and he even said it’s up to us and our ductwork is still good after my wife asked to possibly clean or replace our ducts as we are renovating our home. Here’s the kicker: Wanting a second opinion, we had another AC company come out. They diagnosed and fixed the actual issue in about 30 minutes, and also pointed out the maintenance steps that quality control had been skipping. We learned from the other company that the outdoor coil had never been properly cleaned and was so filthy it was completely clogged, and as a result the unit was overworking/ overheating which is why the compressor and everything else was working overtime. They stated quality also was not applying coil cleaner to the indoor coil during maintenance to prevent mildew/sludge buildup. They cleaned the outside and inside coils— after cleaning, they checked compressor, inside coil, fan motor etc and everything was operating normal. Since the second company came out, our AC has been running better than it has in YEARS — the outside fan is operating at what feels like twice the speed, it’s much quieter, and overall performance has dramatically improved. Account is under Gabby J for reference. The whole experience with the quality was honestly very confusing and really disappointing in the end, especially after trusting them for several years. We feel let down and wish the maintenance had been done properly from the beginning.
