Here’s a polished version that keeps your enthusiasm while reading naturally as a Google review: ★★★★★ This place is superb. My sister-in-law and I came here to celebrate a special life event and opted for the tasting menu with the wine pairings. It was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Food: Every course was beautifully presented, and each dish was thoughtfully balanced. Every bite felt like a little dopamine hit—the flavors were creative without being overwhelming, and the wine pairings elevated each course perfectly. One thing I really appreciated was how incredible I felt the next morning. No heaviness or adverse effects from either the food or the wine, which speaks to the quality of the ingredients and the care put into the experience. Service: Everyone we interacted with was warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The staff explained each course and pairing without feeling scripted, table service was impeccable, and the timing between courses was perfect. The host was also incredibly responsive through OpenTable and very accommodating before our visit. Atmosphere: The glass greenhouse-style architecture is absolutely stunning and fills the space with natural light. The restaurant feels elegant yet inviting, and the warm décor makes it easy to settle in and enjoy a long meal. There’s also plenty of outdoor seating that’s perfect for California weather. This was one of those meals where every detail—from the food and wine to the service and ambiance—came together seamlessly. I can’t wait to come back.

Was visiting Anaheim for a conference and wanted to go out for a nice dinner while in the area. My fiancee and I love greenhouse, plants, and gardens so I thought this would be perfect…and it was! Our server Amy was fantastic! She made suggestions on ordering 3 courses to share. We started with the stuffed squash blossoms. They were lightly fried and so delicious! Next we shared the clam linguine. Delicious clams, perfectly cooked pasta. Our entree was the wagu steak with a side of Caesar brussels(SO GOOD!). Excellent! The old fashion came smoked in a nice display box and my mezcal drink was so yummy! 10/10 would recommend! Bonus points because they use their own grown herbs and squash blossoms in their meals!

Poppy & Seed in Anaheim is a gem — an outstanding dining experience from start to finish. Service was attentive and warm, the drinks were phenomenal. The Black and Gold felt like a rum-forward take on an Old Fashioned; might be the best I’ve ever had. The food ranks among the best in Orange County. We started with the Marinated Olives, Stuffed Squash Blossom, and the Milk Bread (all of which were delicious but the milk bread was outstanding). For mains we enjoyed the Pan-Seared Diver Scallops and the Spiced Pomegranate-Glazed Iberian Pork Chop, both superbly cooked and full of flavor. For dessert the Poached Pear and Almond Cake were perfectly portioned and delightfully light, not overly sweet or heavy. We Highly recommend Poppy & Seed for anyone looking for exceptional food, superb cocktails, and top-notch service.

1 out of 5 for food sanitation I'd been wanting to try this place for a long time, and Mother's Day brunch finally felt like the right occasion. At $85/person, it fell short of expectation. The good: the staff was wonderful, and you can tell a lot of effort went into putting together an ambitious buffet spread. The bad: the outdoor food area had a real sanitation problem. Flies were constantly landing on exposed food: bread, salad, shrimp, you name it. It was hard to eat anything out there in good conscience. The indoor station had a fly fan (smart!), but the selection was just crackers and dessert and the cheese was completely gone 1.5 hours before the brunch even ended. This should have been a special, stress-free experience. Covered food stations or moving the spread indoors would go a long way. I really wanted to love this place. Hopefully they take the feedback seriously for future events.

Our server Breanna was great, answered all of questions, made suggestions, and explained the dish when we had questions. Went for the first to celebrate my sister's birthday. The flavors were a surprise to my palate; I will definitely go back to try other items that they have on the menu.
