We recently spent a Friday evening in downtown Greenville and were pleasantly surprised by the fun atmosphere at NOMA Square. After a delicious dinner at Roost in the Hyatt, we happened upon a band playing in the square. The music was fun cover songs, and the crowd was clearly enjoying the energetic vibe—it was the perfect way to end our delicious dinner. One of the highlights was walking back to our hotel down the center of Main Street, which is closed to traffic for several blocks during the celebration. The whole scene was great—people were out and about, enjoying the music, food, and each other’s company. It’s a must-do if you’re in Greenville on a Friday night!

We had an awesome time here for one of the Friday celebrations! Lots of family’s and super kid friendly, the band was awesome and the beer was cold!

Downtown Friday night in Greenville finally to enjoy the live band again! So glad to live near this great city! Band was great. Boy did everyone show up! Brought both Remi and my Dobie pup who is a service dog in training. He did so well but everyone stopped us to ask about him!

NOMA Square is a lovely outdoor area in between the Hyatt Hotel & the Roost Restaurant on North Main St, downtown Greenville, SC. They have public events there throughout the Spring, Summer & Autumn. Thursday evenings they have music events. Friday evenings are large events with dancing and the whole street is blocked off. The second Wednesday of every month they host Yappy Hour - an event for you and your dog(s). There's a musician or very small musical group & food and service is provided by the Roost. They provide Puptinis (chicken broth) & dog treats. They have an email list you can request to be on to receive their calendar.
