I have curly hair, and this was my very first curly cut — as well as my first visit to this salon. Bailey was absolutely amazing from start to finish. She took the time to really listen to what I wanted, offered thoughtful suggestions tailored to my curls, and made me feel completely comfortable throughout the entire appointment. This was also my first experience having my hair cut dry and with curved scissors, and the difference was incredible! Since Bailey is a curly girl herself, she truly understands the unique challenges and routines that come with curly hair. Her knowledge, skill, and attention to detail immediately put me at ease. For the first time, I feel like I’m finally embracing my curls instead of constantly fighting with them. I couldn’t be happier with my cut and overall experience. Bailey is warm, welcoming, talented, and clearly passionate about helping curly-haired clients feel their best. I’ve definitely found my stylist for life! Edited - because I forgot to say - The salon was very easy to find, which I appreciated right away. It’s a smaller salon with a nicely laid out, welcoming feel that makes it feel comfortable rather than overwhelming. The staff was extremely friendly, and the overall atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and inviting from the moment I walked in. I would highly recommend this Salon to everyone!

I have been going to this salon for years and it is awesome! Sherry, Emily, Monica, Autumn and Nicole are all fantastic. I mainly go to Sherry and Emily but have experienced blowouts from the other ladies. Everyone is professional and very talented. It is a very peaceful relaxing experience! Plus bonus there is boutique that is adjoined with lots of great products! Highly recommend!

Such a lovely salon. I was having problems with a previous hairdresser when I went to and took a chance on May-rah-kee salon as their reviews were great. I am soooo happy that i did. The salon has a great vibe to it. And MONICA is just wonderful. She definately knows her stuff when it comes to color (im a natural brunette with long straight blonde hair) Monica has transformed the condition of my hair in a matter of months. It looks the best it has in literally years. The condition is great, and shiney. And the color is fabulous. She cuts great, without taking lots off the length and she works her magic on my blowouts giving me all different looks, sleek and straight, flicky or curly with bounce and the blowouts look good for days. I highly recommend Monica and I am sooooo sooooo happy that i found her. I absolutely LOVE my hair since she got her hands on it. Btw... Monica is also super sweet and Lovely person

THIS has been a LONG time coming. I wish I had made this review close to when Baley, or Baily, I hope I have her name right, Bailey ALONG with the outstanding woman that claims ownership of this fabulous hair salon. This is the first time I have felt so welcomed entering a hair salon. Due to different health issues I started losing my hair and it came back curly. I had no clue on how to work with curly much less the fuzziness. When visiting Cape Carol I looked for a salon specializing in curly hair. I wasnt sure of such a salon but I put it out there anyways. I was totally ignorant on how to deal with this kind of hair much less a salon that could be helpful with my circumstance. They may not be all that but I have no problem claiming this salon was very helpful. There are amazing products there for curly hair that allows the wave or curl to be soft instead of the hard stiffness like a lot typical creams, jells and foams. I am still using the dark purple bottled amazing products i purchased there. I claim they are amazing because their provided products has my hair feeling so nice and soft instead of crunchy. On top of all that Baily cut my hair fabulously, they showed me ways to style my curls so there wasn't so much frizziness and really went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with all things concerning my hair. Now, to what I had done. I had a completely new hair cut to style, a wonderful plan when coloring, amazing and wonderful shampoo OMG, THE SHAMPOO!!! and conditioning of my hair, What more can I say, Other Than, if in Cape Coral again this wonderful salon is a destination in my plan calendar if they are able to fit me in.

I can’t recommend this salon enough. I haven’t wore my hair down in 5 years…. I would try but it always ended up in a pony or bun. Triangle head situation was strong. While on vacation in Fort Myers I decided to find someone that is familiar with curly cuts. I hit a literal jackpot with this salon. The location is easy to find, parking out front & welcoming staff. When I say “welcoming staff” that doesn’t seem like enough…. I’ve walked into new salons before & for 1st timers it can feel like you just walked into a private conversation that you’re interrupting …. Not here. It was just the opposite. Sherry asked me questions about what brought me in and what my goals were… She used that info and tailored my hair to my needs.& I LOVE IT! I didn’t mind the length & still wanted to be able to rock the bun but it needed shaped up like nobody’s business! Sherry also gave me tips on styling & 2nd day hair. Just a wealth of curly knowledge!! I will make this a non-negotiable stop every time I’m in town. I love that this is a woman owned and operated business & the cute boutique attached to the salon is an added bonus. Thank you!
