One of the better Mexican food chains in SoCal. Can always count on the food being consistent. That’s a HUGE plus. Let’s get into it. Upon walking in I was greeted immediately. They asked if we would like to sit inside or outside. I usually opt for outside as it’s quieter than being inside etc. Order the chicken, cheese mole enchiladas. And a chili relleno on the side. Also comes with rice and beans. The mole sauce is perfect. Little bit of sweet and spicy. Just the way it should be. Chicken was tender and seasoned well. Cheese enchilada typical and good. Chili relleno was perfect. Sometimes when you get one it’s overly battered/too much egg white on the outside. This one has a great balance, not too much egg at all. The place is clean, the staff is very helpful, quick and always attending their tables. Come to think of it I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad experience at any Kalaveras locations. And I’ve been to about 4 locations. The food always tastes the same and the staff and atmosphere is always on point. The ONLY reason I didn’t give it 5. Is because it was raining outside. And this one time I wanted to sit inside. They kept the door open and it was colder inside than outside with the heaters lol. And they got my order wrong. But that was resolved quickly. Overall would I recommend this place? Most definitely. Foods good, staff is great, has plenty of parking ( private lot ) place is clean. Food: a little above average Staff: no issues Cleanliness: clean Atmosphere: vibrant Decor: ok. Nothing crazy. Bathrooms: N/A didn’t use them. Enjoy!

The food and drinks were great. We got the Jamaica infused whiskey “Kopa de Frida” and it was spectacular. PS: Lower down the music, you can’t even socialize comfortably. Maybe because it was Saturday night and they had a dj, I’m just saying there’s no need to blast it to where it almost hurts your eardrums.

I've only been to the Long beach and Riverside location so this was EXTREMELY disappointing on so many levels. The atmosphere wasn't inviting/enjoyable at all and the service was terrible. The place was pretty much empty when I came for taco Tuesday at7pm. We got seated quickly but it took our serve 30 mins just to bring our drinks. The service was so bad we decided not order any food bc we actually would've starved. Crazy part is it took the server another 20mins to get us the bill and complete such a simple transaction of 3 drinks... we were sititng next to the cash register too, annoying. The drinks were the strawberry and mango soft serves: these are scams and aren't worth it especially the strawberry one, it tasted like milk+ alcohol. The Mango was water based so that was just okay, barely any alc. Also they didn't even try to put a filter on the sink water. The water given to use was absolutely disgusting, you could smell the sink water smell just by having the cup in front of you. Never coming to this location again.

Always a fun experience. Came for happy hour again. Gloryzen always provides the best service while helping several tables. It’s. So much fun here and enjoyed celebrating my bday during their breakfast buffet on a Sunday. I haven’t got to other locations but I like who this location has the back patio/outdoor area. If you want a fun and casual vibe with great drinks and service, I definitely recommend.

Went here and white point location. Took 15 mins w 3 other tables and two servers working, to take our drinks. 15 mins later came back w drinks and no chips and salsa. We asked about chips and salsa, as we ordered tacos, two beef and one fish, after two other tables seated after us, our order were taken. Was last to recieve chips and salsa after other tables, that didnt ask for it, recieved it first. We got two beef and a steak taco....not even whst we ordered. Our server obv didnt want to be at work, no smile or interaction, complete RBF the whole time. We are from midwest, this type of server kills a restaurants reputation. Worst server in 3 months weve been eating here. White pointe had the best food snd service since we been here. Thought since white pointe was best yet, couldnt be wrong here. Well... the lil lady prob should go get a different job. I tipped 12%. Matches her abilities
