Eggslut is a fast-casual breakfast spot that focuses almost entirely on egg-based sandwiches and simple morning comfort food. The setup is usually tight and busy, often inside larger food halls, with a counter-service format that keeps things moving quickly even when lines stretch out. The atmosphere feels energetic and a bit chaotic in a typical market-food way, but the turnover is fast enough that it does not feel like a long wait once you are actually in line. The main draw is the egg sandwiches, especially options like the Fairfax and bacon egg & cheese style builds. The eggs are usually soft, creamy, and rich, which gives the sandwiches a very indulgent texture compared to a standard breakfast sandwich. The brioche buns are soft and slightly sweet, which balances out the richness of the eggs and any added bacon or cheese. It leans heavily into comfort food rather than anything light or restrained. The hash browns, especially truffle versions where available, tend to be another standout. They are crispy on the outside and soft inside, with a salty, rich flavor that pairs well with the sandwiches. The overall menu is small and focused, which makes it easy to order but also means there is not a lot of variety beyond egg-based items and a few sides. The main thing to expect is crowds. Lines can get long, especially during peak brunch hours, and seating is usually shared or limited depending on the location. It works best as a quick stop rather than a relaxed sit-down breakfast, and the experience is very much built around high turnover and fast service. Overall, Eggslut is a strong option if you want a rich, indulgent breakfast sandwich that is heavy on flavor and texture. It is not subtle or light, but it delivers exactly what it is known for: soft eggs, buttery bread, and a straightforward, satisfying breakfast experience that works best when you are in the mood for something filling and fast.

Wow, creamy and soft, almost better than a beef burger. It was my first time at Eggslut, and definitely not my last. We were here twice because we liked it so much in the food court in the heart of downtown. The churros are also not to be sneezed at. Something like this for breakfast gets your day off to a good start. Security guards are on site and the staff work quickly. Unfortunately, they didn't accept cash during our visit, but that's slowly becoming the norm everywhere. It doesn't change the great experience there. You have to look for parking spaces as there aren't any. Cars are sometimes parked directly in front of the store, but it's a no-stopping zone.

I wanted to see if it was worth the hype. It was not (at least for me), but I can’t say I had a bad experience. It was kinda pricey for what it was and although it didn’t blow my mind, it was super fresh. The lady delivering the orders was super nice and the rest of the team works really hard: the place was impeccable and again, the food was very fresh - no heavyness or other side effects.

Solid brunch spot. High in calories. Service was friendly and fast despite being busy Grand Central LA. Ambiance is crowded with many other restaurants nearby. Recommend this place for a high calorie brunch. The Fairfax was filling and delicious. One order filled me up quickly. Fairfax: 4.5/5

The sandwiches are delicious! It’s like a little paradise of different international foods. If you are hungry and want a yummy, juicy egg sandwich this is definitely a place to go to.
