We have never used a home watch service before, but after moving out of Florida we needed someone reliable to help us manage our home. Mike & Velma of Carefree Homewatch are dependable, thorough, have great communication and provide excellent reporting after each visit. We receive a very through visit report with pictures, and clear flags if anything should be going wrong. We appreciate their quick responses to our questions/concerns and any help with troubleshooting issues or meeting with contractors if necessary! Their fee is very reasonable and we truly do get a peace of mind when we can't be there!

Carefree Homewatch is the best home watch service I have ever used. They are very dependable and thorough. They provide many photos during the biweekly inspections and will make specific trips to meet with contractors such as plumbers and A/C technicians while you are away. They are very friendly and willing to help with any issues you may have. I recommend them highly without reservation.

I live in California and own a condo in Florida. To have Mike and Velma overseeing the condition of my place so far away has been a lifesaver. Mike visits every 2 weeks, and has a multi-point check list that he follows every time. When Hurricane Ian hit, neighbors reported that my windows held and I thought everything was alright. It was Mike who alerted me to the sudden appearance of dark spots indicating mold growth around window casings that started appearing many weeks later. If not for him, I might not have known for months that a problem that needed timely remediation was brewing. Velma reliably sends the written results and several photos always taken in a report, with a separate notification if anything didn’t pass inspection and is red flagged. Mike is very personable, and responds quickly to any questions I have. Their fee is very reasonable and worth every penny. I recommend their outstanding professional and supportive services as highly as possible.

I have had Carefree Homewatch taking care of my home in Florida for the last 3 years. They have done a wonderful job doing all the basics but go above and beyond in terms of communication, responsiveness, excellent reporting and giving me peace of mind from 1500 miles away!! Would highly recommend Mike & Velma and Carefree Homewatch to anyone looking for that “ Peace of Mind” and someone who will value and treat you home as you would!!
