Pizza was delicious! I came from Ollie’s and was starving. This place’s brownies and cookies do need a fix up tho. I wouldn’t get them again and felt like returning them because they have this plastic taste from the bags they use. The bags definitely aren’t good quality. It ruined the experience of me eating the pizza. I had to eat it later because of that. I’d just get pizza and that’s it. But hopefully it’s improves next year.
When we entered, there was a large table with a gentleman sitting in the aisle nearly blocking the main aisle up to the counter. He may have been the owner, judging by his arrogant "I can do as I please" attitude. He was walking around later looking at everybody and waving at everyone. He and his table were talking extremely loud about someone's illness which was very rude considering this is an eating establishment. You have to pay and order at the counter and when your order is ready they yell your name across the restaurant until you raise your hand then they bring it out to you. The only drinks available are cooler drinks in bottles and cans. The pizza we ordered was supposed to come with free cheesy breadsticks. The breadsticks did not come with the pizza when it was brought to the table; we had to go up later and ask for them and just take them to go. The pizza tasted okay, it had a nice crust and not scorched like so many places tend to do. One of our biggest complaints is that they shave their onions and peppers so thin that when they bake they're like hard pieces of string that you can't even chew let alone, taste. I ordered a meatball sub expecting a MEATBALL sub. What I received was one meatball that was shaved thin and spread all over the bun. It was ridiculous! If I wanted a lunch meat sub, I would have ordered one. I was expecting meatballs! Again, the onions and peppers we're so thin and cooked hard, stringy and unpalatable. They need to fatten up their cut vegetables and when they say meatball sub they need to serve meatballs on the sub not paper thin slices of ONE meatball. The fold of my bread was very soggy although there wasn't very much sauce on it. Subway makes a better meatball sandwich. The chairs are hard metal, cold and uncomfortable and don't sit level on the concrete floor. The bathroom is so dark; it has one extremely dim, exposed, light bulb to illuminate the room. With all the restaurants in the area I doubt that we will ever go back.
This is a microwaveable walk in pizza place with low quality ingredients. I ordered a chicken parm, not only was the chicken ice cold, and fresh out of a plastic bag cut up into little pieces, the sauce looked like finger paint. I was not expecting such a low grade sandwich that looked to be made by a toddler. I then swapped it for 2 slices. I mean I could have just went to the grocery store and bought an entire frozen pie for what I got. Unbelievably disgusting place. How are they even open? This is Cicis or Pizza Hut at best.
I apologize for this review not being posted sooner. In early April, the Watermark community organized a party, celebrating our time together, while providing a proper send off, to all those leaving for the summer. It is always difficult to decide on a reasonable menu for 40 people that will appeal to every taste bud. Enter Bellacino, an already known and popular restaurant with our residents. When inquiring, I was directed to Gary and Rachel (rock stars in customer satisfaction) for help in coordinating. They collectively proved to be amazing in planning and execution. Gary graciously offered us a box lunch; (grinder, chips and a cookie), at a very fair and affordable price. As a result, we were all able to order exactly what is preferred personally, instead of missing out on that last desired piece of pepperoni, or sausage pizza! (because too much vegetarian was chosen, ha-ha) I coordinated the final list in advance with Rachel, who agreed to mark each sandwich with the requesting name. Being with neighbors and friends is a special time. This particular group was our pickleball posse, who we enjoy each day and will miss for several months, so grateful for your support throughout. Thank you Bellacino for an amazing, exceptional and flawless performance! (especially Gary and Rachel) The food was delicious and zero mistakes on either the grinders, or box identity. You demonstrated tremendous pride and competency, in both quality and service. You were already a favorite in our community, but now carry a broader and more loyal following. We will certainly refer you to others and look forward to working with Bellacino on our Spring event, next year.
I have eaten at Bellacinos for years. I love it. In this age where everything is changing as soon as you blink, it's nice to know there are some things that are consistent and unchanging. Incredible pizza, awesome sandwiches (Grinders), and great service. My only complaint....Too many OSU fans always wanting their game played. Buckeyes's are crazy.
