Small and cute bar in a completely unexpected place. Good vibes and good drinks. Loved naked & famous, but also enjoyed the crowd- down to earth and nice. Good little gem in the neighborhood. Something is between upscale and speakeasy dive bar, not too loud, so you can actually enjoy the conversation. Bartenders sweet and cool. Service fast and easy. Would definitely come back to check other drinks on the menu. Also decent old fashioned
Bar Henry is a great neighborhood cocktail spot in Echo Park. The vibe is intimate and stylish. Moody lighting, velvet seating, and a cozy atmosphere. The drinks are excellent, strong classics and creative cocktails, plus a good selection of beer, and wine. It does get busy on weekends, so seating can be limited and the noise level rises, but on weeknights it’s much more relaxed and conversation friendly.
Loud. Even for a Saturday night. Decor nice, bar nice. Went up to the bar, acknowledged quickly. And what can I say, they had a vesper on the menu. You won me over.
I never know this place was beautiful and elegant bar. This place is gorgeous especially the open windows view of the hills leading towards gorgeous home. The atmosphere is old fashioned but very well designed. The people were nice and so friendly. Now the music isn't for me. Maybe because l didn't stay passing 1030pm but the drinks were top tier. I tried several drinks and they were exquisite. This place is open everyday with never charge. Must come and visit especially this time of the month OCT. Definitely will come again.
Went here after a Dodgers game and it is such a cool bar. Security were friendly, the bartender Julian was great to talk too, and of course the cocktails were fantastic! I couldn’t believe they had a “Vesper”, as a massive Bond fan I had to have it and it was amazing. Followed with the old faithful Espresso Martini which was great too. Drinks are reasonably priced. Can’t wait to come back here the next time I’m in LA!
