After seeing miss Eleanor on social media, I had to meet her and she did not disappoint! However since it’s not open to the public without reservation, the entrance was hard to find and was about 10 mins late for visitor day so keep this in mind and arrive early! Thankfully the volunteer running the tour was able to give me a walk through after everyone else was done, and after talking a bit and telling her about my own chicken at home she allowed me to take a photo with one of the friendliest rescues I was geeking out over 🥲 These are volunteers who do the dirtiest work all for the livelihood of these animals who are now living their best lives & they deserve all your money!!

They do group amd private tours, painting events. You can adopt an animal to help with theor upkeep. Nice group of volunteers and they are always looking for more to help care for and feed the reisdents.

I highly recommend booking a sanctuary tour! Loved hanging out with the animals, and even getting to pet a boar! You get to hear some of the stories of the animals. It's great that a place like this exists. If you are visiting Hawaii, or just want to go on a thoughtful date with an animal lover that you know, it's certainly worth it. Nice thing to do when visiting Kaneohe side for sure.

What a fantastic place, they clearly have a passion for the animals and I enjoyed my tour. We met all the characters, heard their stories and got to feed the pigs! All proceeds go to helping them maintain the property and feed/care for the animals. Highly recommend!
