Beautiful day. Did more open water fishing than near the shore but not many fish and it seemed like there should have been. But what do I know. Three of us caught at least one spotted sea trout each but none big enough to keep. One of us caught a small lady fish, too. We extended our 4 hour trip by two hours in hopes of catching more fish. I caught a few catfish and Captain Al was expert at removing them. When all was said and done it was a great day to be outdoors on the water and we all agreed it would be good to try at least a four hour trip again. We're glad we went.
This is our 3rd time going out with Captain Al and we had another great fishing experience! We had so much fun and Captain Al put us right on the fish and is so hands on with his guests! Even my wife who doesn’t normally fish and likes to come along for the boat ride had a great time reeling in some eaters! We can’t wait to do this again next year on our annual visit to Cape Coral! Thanks again Captain Al!
A GREAT day fishing with Captain Al! Ended up booking for the COLDEST day possible in January but Cap’n Al found protected spots with great returns. We all three caught a bunch of Reds, snook, snapper and sheepshead. Cap’n Al is super experienced and a great navigator..which is ideal when out in any waters. He is also calm, funny and patient, with a kind manner. Had great equipment and plenty of bait for us to lose while trying to entice the fish! The boat is terrific, clean and very well kept, a comfortable and safe platform to fish from, and took the chop very well. He also kindly filleted our keepers to ensure we had a perfect dinner when we got home! An excellent fishing adventure and we will certainly be going out with him again. Thanks Cap’n Al, for a wonderful day!
Had a great day out on the water with Captain Al while fishing in the Matlacha area. Lost count of the quantity of fish early on from Speckled Trout, Grouper, Redfish, Snapper, Snook, etc. Even stepped it up a notch by showing us how to catch two at a time, multiple times! Was very appreciative of the guidance/suggestions allowing us to have a fantastic day out on the water! Would strongly recommend Captain Al for fishing excursions in Southwest Florida.
Cant say enough good things about Captain Al. Great fishing guide. We caught over 20 fish 3 different species and had a family of dolphins playing around the boat while we were fishing. Fantastic.
